Mathom House has been fulfilling this mission for almost 30 years, and has treated almost boys, while many others have received outpatient services from us. Each youth benefits from our time-tested, evidence-based curriculum that integrates therapeutic and academic learning with recreation activities, leadership, and service learning opportunities.
With almost 20 years of experience treating youth involved in firesetting, we understand and can characterize the primary motivational factors behind juvenile firesetting. At AYC, we treat many of the co-morbid features of the juvenile firesetter effectively. Thus, attention disorders, depression, conduct disorders, and other disorders are treated concurrently with specific firesetting issues.
ADAPT is committed to meet the diverse needs of adolescents who have sexually offended, or otherwise are displaying difficulties with their sexual behavior. With each youth who is reached, dividends are paid in terms of prevention, victim trauma reduction, alleviation of suffering, and in most cases, family restoration. ADAPT was established in to address the therapeutic needs of the adolescent sex offender. Residential group care for youth ages is offered in two male units within our main campus.
